Mercure Korona Hotel, Budapest

My latest stay in Budapest has been in the Mercure Korona Hotel, a 4-star hotel located in the center of city.

Regular Rooms are modest; neither good nor bad; beds are confortables, bathrooms are clean but small ; so does the desk which is actually a little tin.
As for the restaurants or breakfasts i havent had time to try them out and actually i was preferring to eat outside since there is a restaurant street just nearby; with a wider selection of food and much cheaper prices.

Service was ok. The check-in / check-out times were quick and professional. The only shadow of my stay has been more at my arrival; where i realize that the grooms were a bit too much tip-oriented. Arriving with one single luggage weighting less than 7 kilos, I kindly said to the grooms i will be taking myself my luggages upstair, and from one second to another, i have seen both of their faces changing from a very friendly face to a digusted face. From my point of view, it is something i dont like to see an hotel; it looks so fake friendliness.

All in all; the hotel is ok. I wont be depicting this hotel as the best one i have ever been ; nor the worst one i have been. Just a regular hotel. Nothing more nothing less.

Leonidas in Helsinki, my sweet shelter

Living since some years in Finland and having a sweet tooth, i have been looking for a café place which would serve sweet delicacy to enjoy a relaxing coffee. My dream came true when Leonidas café arrives in town 1-2 years ago. Over the ultra-sweet bulky cakes of too many places around there, here comes the fine tasty sweets, cakes and mousses. Delicous !
Their triple chocolate cake is a must have if you visit this place ! Located in Kamppi shopping mall (near picnic, Lux entrance side), they offer a fair variety of coffee, wide selection of the famous Leonidas chocolates, and cakes.
The staff is friendly; only shadow to the picture i would say is the actual café; a bit too small and gets easily crowded, the ransom of the success i guess. But for this triple chocolate cake i would stay in any place :)
